Description
1890’s German Naval Dirk, Smaller Scale. This style dirk is illustrated in the Wittmann book on German Naval Daggers on page 57 and he states that it was issued to boys attending shipyard schools in the 1890’s or possibly being a “helmsman or ship’s pilot trainee dirk” based on the design at the crossguard center. This handsome piece measures 13 1/2 inches (34cm) in the scabbard and looks great along a full-size counterpart. LH8093
