Third Reich Era Navy helmet acquired directly from a veteran's estate.

M40 variant, size 64 and maker stamped E.F. for Emaillerwerke AG, Fulda. Complete with original leather liner, band and rivets. Brush painted ship grey with soldier's name present on one of the liner's leather tongues - Haase. Battle damaged (small dent on the left side).

Beautiful and named Kriegsmarine helmet, seldom encountered in brushed ship grey camouflage overpaint.
