SS EM/NCO’S Belt Buckle by “RZM 822/37 SS”, w RZM Marked Belt Excellent! The buckle in this rig is aluminum based and was made in 1937. It has most of the original paint. The details to the wreath and swastika are crisp and if it was worn it was maybe for one parade if at all. The belt is RZM marked but not with the SS contract code and is dated 1938. Some collectors have speculated that all SS buckles were issued with SS contact marked belts but I doubt this is the case as I have seen very few original SS marked belts and they usually come back with belts that have maker markings to the belt makers. This rig came back just like this and was a vet estate pickup by a buddy and I am keeping it together as the wear on the inside indicates that it sat this way since the vet brought it back. Great set in choice condition. The belt measures 38 inches/ 96.5cm for those who need this for your tunic.
