Beautiful and rare Infantry Assault Badge in silver by Karl Wurster K.G., Markneukirchen being of “massive” (this means solid) tombac construction with soldered on reverse fittings. Maker marked on the reverse with the initials of Wurster “w” by the hinge. Very good condition with very good looking overall patina. No repairs and no damage as are all my items unless I state otherwise. This is a top shelf piece and one of the most desirable badges out there. I just priced one at 1100 Euros and it was sold – That comes to 1200 dollars, I will price this piece at 400 dollars less. I do not know why many of the big European dealers and ritzy American dealers like to remove prices on sold items, it is almost as if they are embarrassed at what they get or probably more likely that they wish to deceive sellers of the same item as to what the value of said item is, at any rate my sold prices are all still up, thousand of them and it probably has worked to my detriment for years but I do not care as I am not going to get rich selling this stuff.
