Early Schinkel 1939 Iron Cross Second Class. These so-called “Schinkel” or “Schinkelform” crosses are 1939 pieces made with the shape and proportions of the original, Schinkel designed Iron Crosses from 1914 and earlier. This particular example is magnetic and note the narrow arms and smaller swastika. This is a handsome cross with original ribbon. LH11440
