Early DLV Pilot’s Badge, Miniature. These Early Third Reich Pilot’s Wings date to before the introduction of the LW Pilot Badges and very few seem to exist with these being the earliest DLV Wings-Pilot Badges of the Third Reich before Germany openly engaged in the fielding of an Air Force. These have been seen in two sizes with this being the smaller size measuring 2.2cm by 2.2cm having excellent enamel work and a fine frosted silver finish with this example being in excellent plus condition.
