German World War 2 Air Force DAK camouflaged M40 helmet.

Tropical/desert painted steel M40 variant helmet made by Quist, large size - 66 with a very early 346 lot number. Amazing camo pattern that time turned into "mustard yellow" color. Goat skin liner is complete, leather is pliable, little bit dry, with original draw string and soldier's initials - JH written on one of the liner tongue's. It comes with a complete, full length 1940 maker and year marked chinstrap. 

This is one beautiful example of a WW2 African campaign helmet which will surely upgrade your headgear display. Rare offering.
