GERMAN WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN BELT & BUCKLE NAMED W/ SOLDIERS BATTLE POEM

German Imperial Era belt set.

Unmarked, die stamped steel construction with a fully working catch. Textbook factory applied field grey paint, followed by what looks to be a field applied layer which acquired beautiful patina over the years. Leather is soft and pliable, with soldier's name and a custom note written on the middle inside part of the belt.
