Description
Jude Star of David. This was obtained from an old collection. A note with is stated that it was worn by “Hans Israel Flatauer”.
On September 1, 1941, Reinhard Heydrich decreed that all Jews in the Reich six years of age or older were to wear a badge which consisted of a yellow Star with the word “Jude” in bold Hebrew-like letters at the center. This example is in excellent condition for its age and is folded having needle thread holes indicating that it may have been worn. A sad but important relic of the era. Rare. LH10118
