Description
DJ Deutsches Jungvolk for Oberbann 6 NPEA – NAPOLA Sleeve Rune.
This is a very attractive – and truly rarely found! – DJ (Deutsches Jungvolk) arm-badge as was intended for usage by a member who served within the: ‘Oberbann 6’ (ie. within one of the: ‘Nationalpolitische Erziehungsanstalten’ ie. ‘Napola’) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. never used- nor worn- ie. ‘virtually mint- and unissued’-), condition. These ‘Nationalpolitische Erziehungsanstalten’ ie. ‘Napola’ were National Political Institutes of Education (officially abbreviated as: ‘NPEA’, however, commonly abbreviated as: ‘Napola’ for ‘Nationalpolitische Lehranstalt’ meaning National Political Institution of Teaching) and were secondary boarding-schools in TR-Germany. They were founded as ‘community education sites’ after the National Socialist seizure of power in 1933. The black-colored insginia – which is executed on a white-coloured background and is woven in the neat so-called: ‘BeVo’-weave pattern as always – signifies that its bearer belonged to the: DJ ‘Oberbann 6’. Simply a very attractive – and truly rarely found! – example that will be impossible to be upgraded without doubt the most difficult to encounter of the series of six different ones! LH11507
