Army Standard Bearer Gorgets are fairly rare pieces and those made by Assmann are among the hardest to find with examples by Juncker or Aurich being the ones that are usually encountered with this being the only example by Assmann that I have had and this piece having a distinct look to the eagle. The chain on this example has been lost to time. (os)
