Description
1938 – 1942 Spain Secret Police Badge – Cuerpo de Investigación y Vigilancia. This badge is numbered on the reverse to the original recipient. On May 22, 1938, the new badge was created for the officers of the Investigation and Surveillance Corps – Cuerpo de Investigación y Vigilancia . The number of the official was inscribed on the back of the plate and there was a box where a photograph of said official would be placed. The plate was worn on the left side of the chest, on top of the vest or under the jacket lapel, and when due to special circumstances it had to be made visible, it was placed on the same side, on the outer garment. 4.7 by 6 cm, maker marked.
